Process

Here's the before and after on the previous concept piece.



And here's some of the assets:
Ttattoos drawn in Sketchbook Pro,
the textures are my own photos, and the logo was
created in Adobe Illustrator.
The tattoos are of course a rip-off of Sailor Jerry's work.
Any similarities are intentional.

Thanks for showing your work process so openly - I recently purchased Sketchbook Pro 6 as a direct result of seeing your superb sketchbook section in ImagineFX - am now struggling to replicate your wonderful brushes as the rocket scientists at Autodesk seem to have reconfigured the brush edit interface in the new version.... are you running SBPro 6 yet? If so, could you give us some updates/tips? Muchas Gracias and keep the posts coming!!
